By the end of this course learners will: (1) define chronic kidney failure, chronic kidney disease, and uremia; (2) differentiate chronic kidney disease from acute kidney disease; (3) determine clinical signs, diagnosis, IRIS staging, and IRIS substaging of chronic kidney disease; (4) determine management and prognosis of chronic kidney disease and (5) monitor patients with chronic kidney disease.
