CET Welcomes New Instructional Designer

Bette Bittner joined the Center as an instructional designer in March 2021. Ms. Bittner holds a bachelor’s in technical communication with a minor in computer science from the University of Minnesota. She has over 17 years of experience in developing curricula for online and in-person training programs.

As a critical addition to the Center’s expanding training programs, Bette is tasked with working with subject matter experts (SMEs), to develop learning objectives, author content, and shepherd the development of courses from start-to-finish. She works closely with the Center’s multimedia production team to create technology enhanced lessons and educational resources on a variety of topics. To date, Bette has led the development of VetEducator, the leading source for veterinary medical education images, videos, and printable content. She has also developed online lessons on critical thinking in veterinary medicine, conducting foreign animal disease investigations, and vaccine acceptance.

“I am pleased that Bette has joined our team. Her talent and experience working with learners of all ages, combined with her experience in online learning, will enable the CET to expand their course offerings to broader audiences”
