The next time you visit the Center for Educational Technologies (CET), stop by to meet the newest member of the team. On January 14th, Dr. Nicola Ritter will join the group as an Instructional Assistant Professor and will provide instructional design support for the Center’s expanding project portfolio. Dr. Ritter holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, with a concentration in Learning Science, from the Department of Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University. She worked for six years at Compass Learning, an Austin-based company that produces online educational programs for the K-12 market, holding positions in scientific instructional design and program assessment. “I am delighted that Dr. Ritter has joined our team. Her talent and experience in instructional design, combined with her training in educational assessment, will help the CET remain at the forefront of education.” said Dr. Jodi Korich, the Director of the CET. In addition to Center’s director, the CET team currently includes three faculty members with advanced degrees in education, five instructional technologists, and a project manager. The Center was established in 2010 and has rapidly grown into an internationally recognized leader in veterinary education.
