After a “COVID-hiatus,” the Center for Educational Technologies (CET) has resumed training in their online course-authoring software, StepStone. Referred to as Tutorials and Treats, the trainings are 1-hour, hands-on sessions where the participants learn and develop materials along with StepStone trainer, Bette Bittner.

In addition to the Level 1 and Level 2 StepStone trainings, CET also offers a Build a Path in StepStone class where the attendees build short StepStone courses, from start to finish. Participants have found this class particularly valuable in preparing them to build independently in StepStone.

StepStone trainings will continue quarterly, with one-on-one sessions available for VMBS faculty and staff, as requested. The next group series is scheduled for December 13, 11am-12pm (Level 1) and December 20, 11am-12pm (Level 2). RSVP to save your spot.

StepStone is provided by the Center for Educational Technologies at no cost for VMBS faculty and staff, and is available for purchase through subscription for individuals or groups not affiliated with VMBS.
