    Enteral nutrition is vital for maintenance of the immune system, gastrointestinal health, and postsurgical healing. Recent studies show that early enteral nutrition improves postsurgical healing and outcomes in patients with sepsis, trauma, and other conditions. This module will discuss the placement and use of nasoesophageal (NE) and nasogastric (NG) tubes and esophagostomy (E) tubes.

    Learning Modules:

    • Part 1: Esophagostomy Tubes (Contact time: 0.5 hours)
    • Part 2: Nasoesophageal and Nasogastric Tubes (Contact time: 0.5 hours)
